Cancer Cervical Colposcopy
If a cancer cervical colposcopy exam has detected condyloma, vaginal wart or mild cervical dysplasia, treatment can be applied during the same visit.
That is why they schedule a follow up exam to view the cervix more closely. Whenever a Pap smear comes back with an abnormal reading, the first thing that doctors want to know is if cancerous cells have also developed or are there just squamous cells present.
