With a colposcopy biopsy exam it is possible to remove verruca and venereal wart from the cervix. Whenever doctors use a colposcope to view the abnormal areas on the cervix after finding an abnormal pap smear, they also take tissue samples to be sent to a lab and further examined to better determine the stage of dysplasia found. The samples are obtained using a large needle or small forceps. If there are no obvious white areas, then blind or random samples will be taken. When using a colposcope, with a vinegar solution on the cervix, abnormal areas appear white and from where tissue samples are taken. With a colposcopy biopsy exam it is possible to remove verruca and venereal wart from the cervix.
