Colposcopy Picture
With a colposcopy picture it is easy to make a proper diagnosis and prescribe the proper treatment, such as cryosurgery, for cervical dysplasia or venereal wart.
When cervical dysplasia is present the abnormal cells will appear white in color compared to the rest of the normal tissue, when an acid solution is put on the cervix. A normal, healthy cervix is pink in color and surface area will be one constant color.
