Colposcopy Result
A colposcopy result may require a leep procedure or other treatment for the cervix.
It may be necessary to take a sample (biopsy) from the affected area for further analysis. In some cases the treatment is performed at the same time with examination. The procedure is performed to confirm the negative Pap test and identify where the abnormal tissues are.

Colposcopy Result -
LEEP Procedure, Cervix
It is recommended not to use tampons and have sex for a week. Examination without biopsy doesn't have any side effects, though some pain, bleeding, and dark discharge are possible for a couple of days. A very deep biopsy may weaken the cervix. After these operations, light bleeding and pain are possible. A colposcopy result may require a leep procedure or other treatment for the cervix.
