Colposcopy Training
Special colposcopy training is necessary for every gynecologist, as it may be rather difficult to determine ASCUS and other disorders after a pap smear test.
During the course, students are recommended to perform 75 exams on their own. ASCCP accredits the courses as an approved program. Basic courses for colposcologists are aimed at nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and sertified nurse midwifes who want to perform screening and colposcopic examination.
