Genital Herpes Transmission
Genital herpes transmission is very easy, small verruca in genital or oral herpes appear after a contact with an infected person.
In other words, HSV can be transmitted even when there are no visible symptoms or lesions. This shedding is commonly referred to as “silent outbreak”. HSV-1 and HSV-2 reside in the lesions they cause, thus infection is contracted through direct contact, however, it sheds between episodes from skin that does not appear to be broken or to have a sore and may be transmitted then.
