Type 1 Genital Herpes
If type 1 genital herpes is accomplished with condyloma, leep procedure is performed, but herpes cannot be removed from the body.
A swab of an open lesion is needed for the culture. There are two main laboratory methods to diagnose the virus: a culture and a blood test. The virus can be diagnosed by examination and appearance of the lesions in most cases.

Type 1 Genital Herpes -
Condyloma, LEEP Procedure
A blood test will not tell you the site of the virus infection. It can take two weeks to three months after exposure to HSV for antibodies to be detected in the blood. A blood test checks for the antibody to the virus, not the virus itself. If type 1 genital herpes is accomplished with condyloma, leep procedure is performed, but herpes cannot be removed from the body.
