1 Genital Herpes Type
Type 1 genital herpes type is not treated with the LEEP procedure, as ASCUS often is.

1 Genital Herpes Type -
LEEP Procedure, ASCUS
Infection about the sexual body parts is typically acquired through sexual contact and usually from HSV-II (90%). HSV-I (10%) can be transmitted by direct contact with virus-infected saliva. HSV-I infection of the sex organs is almost always by oral sex with a person who has the oral HSV-1 infection. Type 1 genital herpes type is not treated with the LEEP procedure, as ASCUS often is.
