Diagnosis Genital Herpes
With the diagnosis genital herpes, often other viruses are discovered, such as a venereal wart or a genital wart.
Patient history, risk assessments, and disease definitive symptoms-- vesicles, pustules, and ulcers--are often used to ascertain cause. Where questionable, the physician confers with pathology, but lab tests are not infallible. They can render false readings so awareness of the potential downsides and receiving counseling as to such is prudent.
