Genital Herpes Incubation Period
The average genital herpes incubation period is completely different than the incubation period of the penile wart or verruca virus.
From infection to symptoms, manifestation for this disease typically falls between 2-7 days. A period of 2 days to 3 weeks will confirm infection. However, the virus may be acquired and be unobserved for a longer time. Development time depends on a system’s immunity and/or pre-existing exposure to the virus. Even with no symptoms, HSV can be transmitted.

Penile Wart, Verruca
Initial signs of infection or "pre-outbreak" symptoms preceding emergence of sores occur by 30 minutes to several days. In first primary occurrences, lesions can last 7 - 12 days, followed by crusting or scabbing. Healing of lesions usually occurs within 10 - 21 days, when crusts or scabs will form.
