Photo Genital Herpes
When viewing an STD photo, genital herpes, verruca and oral herpes are likely to be included in the presentation.
The outbreak usually begins as an itching or tingling sensation followed by redness of the skin. The blisters are very painful to touch and may last from 7 days to 2 weeks. The most dangerous period when the virus is most contagious is from the time of itching to the healed ulcer stages. This virus can be transmitted even when there are no symptoms.

Sometimes the symptoms of other diseases are confused with these virus symptoms. Once exposed to the virus, there is an incubation period that generally lasts 3 to 7 days.
