Sexually Transmitted Disease Genital Wart
A sexually transmitted disease genital wart is rather difficult to cure; cryotherapy and LEEP in the cervical area only remove the symptoms, but the problem may recur.
Some strains of the virus that do not cause warts can cause cancer. This virus is usually asymptomatic and only a few virus types produce recognizable lesions. HPV can be spread by skin-to-skin contact, so condoms should not be expected to provide complete protection.

To reduce the risk of re-infection and recurrence of HPV lesions, simultaneous treatment of infected patents and their sexual partners is recommended. There are treatments available. Lesions can appear on the head or shaft of a man’s penis, or on a woman’s vulva, vagina, or cervix.
