Penile Photo Wart

A small study showed that only 6% of men carried more than one type of HPV, while reports show that women commonly have multiple types of the virus. It remains unclear, although HPV may be a more transient infection in men than women and there may be different immune responses.

Rarely associated with the cancer causing types of HPV, condyloma growths are the most common symptom that appears in men. Generally appearing on the tip or shaft of the penis, in or around the anus, or on the scrotum (the sac containing the testicles).
