Verruca vulgaris may be treated with cryotherapy or cone biopsy. The surface is covered with black dots that are small blood vessels feeding the wart. All warts are caused by the human papilloma virus, a virus found everywhere. This type of HPV is prone to spread to other areas of the foot and possibly the hands.
