Caused by the human papilloma virus, it is infectious, and autoinoculable. Condyloma acuminatum usually occurs on the mucous membranes of genitalia or skin of the external organs, or in the perianal region; although the lesions are usually few in number, they may aggregate to form large cauliflower-like masses.
