Standard therapies for GW remove most or the problem. They include: caustic/acids, podophylin resin, imiquimod oinment (Aldara), interferon, podophylox, and alternative methods. Treatment is aimed mostly at destruction of the growths rather than elimination of the virus. Subclinical infection may be asymptomous, and there is no remedy. Infected people should always use condoms not to transmit the virus. There is no ideal remedy for all cases, the vaccine is not yet available.
