This type of bumps can occur almost anywhere such as on legs; commonly they appear in areas surrounding the cheeks particularly in children. Classified as flat because they are tinier and smoother than other types of condylomata acuminata, they erupt in large numbers even though some may not be visible. A facial wart is not detected with a pap smear, unlike cervical dysplasia.
