Genital Warts Treatment
Genital warts treatment will vary but follow up monitoring with a periodic Pap smear and HPV dna testing is advised.
Standard therapies remove most or the problem. They are: caustic/acids, podophylin resin, imiquimod cream (Aldara), interferon, podophylox, and alternative methods. Cryosurgery is very effective for treating multiple, small disorders on the genitalia, but it’s not effective curing the rectum area. HPV vaccine is not yet available.

Pap Smear, HPV
Cure for these lesions is aimed at destruction of the warty growths rather than elimination of their cause. Subclinical infection may be lifelong, and there is no remedy. Infected people should always use condoms not to transmit the virus to uninfected partners.
