Warts Cures
Laser treatment for warts cures the wart, but may risk HPV transmission in the smoke plumes that cryotherapy or cryosurgery does not.
A very successful methods of treating resistant disorders is laser removal. The procedure can be painful and leave scarring. A risk of clinical infection also exists in health care workers, since HPV can be isolated in the smoke plume. One retrospective study revealed a cure rate of 64% at 12 months.

There is no ideal remedy. Treatment measures are: benign neglect (not recommended for extensive and spreading disease), topical agents (salicylic acid, cantharidin, podophyllin, imiquimod, cidofovir, podophyllotoxin, and tretinoin), intralesional injections (bleomycin, interferon alpha), systemic agents (cimetidine and retinoids), and alternative treatments.
